The Emperor’s New Clothes was inspired through the observation at a gallery in London, where an empty canvas hung on the wall drew much attention. The viewers were overheard interpreting and upholding what they saw with glorified words wrapped up in artistic academia. Shortly afterward when the crowd had moved on, a couple approached the work where they were overheard to have whispered “what in hell is this supposed to be, there’s nothing there”!
